would like to recommend Mr. Francis Hung as an excellent
trainer in his field.
Mr. Hung was
instrumental in developing and delivering our “License
to Business Development Project and Product management”
program to strengthen our newly build business unit
organization in China:
For this
task, we had to localize the content of our global
program and adapt it to both, the specific needs of our
China organization and the level and background of our
participants.
For this
purpose we evaluated two famous training providers and
finally – after attending their public courses and
detailed discussions – decided to partner with Mr. Hung:
Besides his training style, attitude and openness, we
were impressed by his international scope, combining a
profound understanding of the needs of international
companies with a deep knowledge about the realities of
product development, market challenges and skill levels

Context
of the “License to Business Development Project and
Product Management Program”
As part of our
group’s transition from a centralized into a regional
organization, our China organization is building
complete competences and personnel to develop new
products in China for China and other markets with
similar needs: Until recently all such work was done
centrally in our headquarters.
After our
China management initiated underlying organizational
changes, every business unit had to recruite at least
one product manager. Most of the new positions were
staffed using existing experts with strong technical and
industry background. However, most of them had never
done any product management related work and needed to
acquire the necessary marketing and business skills and
competences in short time.
Just half year before us, our headquarter had designed
and carried out a multi-module product management
training course in cooperation with the University of
St. Gall in Switzerland. While much of the theory was
also relevant for us, most of the cases and also the
focus and methodologies were not suitable for the highly
dynamic but also fragmented industry contexts in
China.
The
headquarters therefore agreed to let us design our own
program, combining the principles and global tools and
processes our group is using worldwide with cases and
methods suitable for the China environment and adjust it
to the level of our people and the challenges they were
facing during their daily life.
Target was to equip 17 participants with tools, theory,
exercises and tests to learn how to identify
opportunities, formulate business plans, systematically
evaluate and formulate market needs and develop and
launch solutions in the region for the region.
Mr.
Hung was instrumental in developing this program: With
his rich knowledge of previous trainings, cases and
understanding of how to explain new contexts to
technical people, we were able to quickly analyze the
Swiss program, add local cases, design specific group
works and customize the entire program to our needs.
Mr.
Hung was the main teacher throughout our 4 module
program @2-3 days which was delivered over the period of
12 months, featuring basic theory, introduction of
methods and tools, practical exercises, integrating real
cases, simulating real life situations, having an
exchange session with our China top management team and
finally a test and graduation ceremony which was
attended by the China management and representatives of
the group’s Top management.
Without
the experience, flexibility and passion of Mr. Hung, we
would not have been able to develop this program in such
a short time and deliver it to participants in an
easy-to- understand and practical way.
Our
organization has well absorbed the knowledge and
training and is using the key concept in daily life – we
can see many new products and developments coming up and
our product managers and business development experts
have become more professional but also more confident in
exploring new potentials and realizing their ideas and
concepts within our organization and also in cooperation
with experts worldwide.
This
training has been well received not only by participants
and the China management team, but also got high
priority and attention on the group level: So far, China
is the only region, were we managed to develop and run
such a highly customized program.
We would like
to thank Mr. Hung for his contribution and can recommend
him as a highly professional coach and teacher and a
very flexible and pleasant person to work with and learn

布勒中国的成立是布勒集团由总部到世界各个区域扩展过渡的一部分,目前,布勒中国已具
